Notes: Bound three-quarter leather cloth with bright gilt embossing, this antique set is a scarce collection of composer biographies in the first two volumes and a selection of their music in the third. Each biographical section contains a frontispiece portrait and illustrations within the text. The volumes show mild external age/wear, and are solidly bound with clean, lightly age-toned pages with marbled edges. Volume one has minor damage to bottom front corner. The books measure approximately 9.25" x 12". Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $18.50
