Condition/Details: Bound in leather with bright gilt embossing, this antique volume is a scarce collection of German bookplate art featuring (mostly) female nudes. Five plates have been signed by the following artists: Bruno Heroux, Alois Kolb, Martin E. Philipp, Siegmund Lipinsky, Hans Volkert. The work is illustrated with 95 plates. Introductory text has numerous in-text illustrations. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 8" x 10.25" and contains 43 pages plus unpaginated plate series. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
