Folk Staff-Dated 1894-A carved and polychromed cane with much detail applied by the carver, a small bumble bee which is paint decorated being attacked by a snake, a group of eight bleeding hearts, various burned maple leaves and extensive checkering. The top of the handle has the initial "D" which has a red background and there is a medallion on the side of the shaft with the initials which are unreadable to us. Nice original patina and never had a ferrule-O.L. 48"-$500-$800
The date has been corrected on this cane.
