Description: 351 pp. Illustrated with numerous black and white photographs. 6½x7¾, original photographic self-wraps. First Edition.With 2 original signed drawings by Picasso on half-title; the drawings are done in red crayon with touches of brown and yellow: one is a female profile, the other is a male face with moustache, beard and a cloud of hair. Signed twice by the artist: "Picasso" is above the profile; "Para Arias. Picasso el 2.2.72" is above the facing portrait. Eugene Arias, Picasso's best friend for 30 years, was also his barber. This drawing of a mustachioed, bearded man with a very full head of hair undoubtedly has special significance.
