Description: Original panoramic photograph, with negative. Approximately 3¾x11½".Titled by hand in ink on rear: "Douglas Fairbanks and Company in "Flood" movie stunt near Seal Rock California." (and in pencil below) "Title of Play" When the Clouds Roll By." Signed in ink by the photographer and dated Nov. 2, 1919. Photo shows Fairbanks on the roof top of a house in a flooded plain, the contents of the house afloat in the surrounding waters. A crowd of onlookers line the bank and surrounding area. The photographer, Ferd J. Zettler was a realtor and general building contractor in Los Angeles. His panoramic photographs of Exposition Park are in the collection of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
