This is an original combination book and 33 1/3 RPM LP Album recorded in 1969, and dealing with the spectacular achievements of Frederick Carder. The authors of the project were Gerry & Cecily Philpot, and the booklet is signed by both. The voice is none other than that of the legendary Frederick Carder himself, detailing many aspects of his lifelong pursuit in the production of art glass.This set is rare, and highly collectible. The narratives include almost 80 minutes of insight into Carder's life, from the coming to America, and the development of glasses including Aurene, Rouge Flambe, Alabaster, Cluthra, Verre de Soie and many others.
