(lot of 2) Chinese carved horn incense holders, the first an openwork sphere carved to either side with 'hehe erxian' holding flowering sprays below hovering bats, the second of double-gourd shape, joined at the middle and carved with reticulated shou-medallions and grape vines, the horn of classic cinnamon-brown hue, 2.5''diam and 3.125''l; Provenance: Estate of Diana Engstrom, Northern California and Sweden.
