Chinese 'chicken's blood' stone seal, of square section with tapered top corners, the top with a four character cartouche, one side inscribed 'Ping Sheng Weng Tonghe yong yin' (=seal of Weng Tonghe (1830-1904) [imperial tutor of Tongzhi and Guangxu Emperors]) and dated Guangxu xin-chou (=1901), the bottom carved with six characters, together with a fitted hongumu wood box, 1.5''sq Provenance: Estate of Diana Engstrom, Northern California and Sweden.
