Carl Snavely(Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,1915-1983) and David Y. Ellinger(American,1913-2003), three carved and painted figures of an owl, rooster, and squirrel, in the manner of Schimmel, all initialed on base, ''DYE'', 6 1/2'' h., 5 1/2'' h. and 4 1/4'' h. The rooster is illustrated in Machmer, Just For Nice, fig. 172.
Condition reportSquirrel - chip repair to one ear. Rooster - good condition, no apparent damages or repairs. Owl - good condition, no apparent damages or repairs.
