Lehigh County, Pennsylvania painted dower chest dated 1785, inscribed ''Sofia Refinger'', the front decorated with two green sponge hearts, each with three pinwheels on a yellow and orange sponge ground with interlacing circle border, above two drawers supported by bracket feet, 30'' h., 49'' w.
