Philadelphia painted Friendship Fire Co. parade hat, 19th c., bearing the label of James Remick, the front with a young woman grasping a tree trunk, the reverse inscribed ''Engineer F.E.'', 6'' h., 13 1/2'' dia.
Condition report
Very minor edge wear. Loss to sides of interior fabric lining. Very small hole in brim.
