Franklin H. Eshelman(American, 19th/20th c.), oil on canvas Berks County, Pennsylvania farm scene titled ''Old Snyder Farm and Bertolet Log Cabin'', initialed on stretcher ''FHE '97'', signed lower right F.H. Eshelman, 26'' x 42''. The log cabin depicted was moved between 1965 and 1967 and reconstructed on the Daniel Boone Homestead. Provenance: Paul R. Eshelman. Exhibited at the Reading Public Museum 1982. For a similar example see Sotheby's, January 2002, lot 866, The Collection of Julie and Sandy Paley, depicting the same farm in the Oley Valley.
