John Zinck(Southeastern Pennsylvania, 19th c.), ink and watercolor taufschein for David Royer, born 1811 with central script flanked by figures of a man and woman above floral sprays with birds, very colorful and intricately drawn, 9 1/2'' x 7 1/2''. For a nearly identical example, see Shelley, Illuminated Manuscripts, plate 237.

A couple small stains. Overall good condition. Not examined out of frame.
