Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: This is the #1450 Denver & Rio Grande Service Station Special Freight Set that Lionel made circa 1974. This Set includes the #8464/8465 Denver & Rio Grande F-3 AA Diesels, the #9863 Green REA Reefer, the #9144 Denver & Rio Grande Gondola with Canisters, the #9739 Denver & Rio Grande Box Car, the #9117 Alaska Hopper and the #9166 Illuminated D&RG Caboose. Our Opinion is that it is generally in Like New Condition, no signs of use other than perhaps a test run. Nice Boxes, one interior box has some writing on it. All Original in our Opinion.
