Their arms are linked, creating an interesting pattern where their plaid sleeves cross. They have lace collars and pantaloons. The one at the right holds a straw hat. This ¼ plate daguerreotype is sealed in a European passe-partout. There are some very light wipes, mostly to the right of the right boy's face. Some imperfections on the underside of the glass CAN be cleaned; they are not on the plate.
