The photographer's Niobrara, Neb. decorated logo is on the verso of this large tan mount stereo view. The title is on a strip label in the negative. This is a great outdoor view that is especially dramatic in the viewer. We get a feeling of the cold as the family poses naturally in front of their tipi, the unlit fire at the left. The man holds a Winchester. To the right are two older women and a girl. Great interest is added by the men on horseback in the back at right. There are pinholes near the top and bottom of the center line. There's some light soil, and a couple of light blobs from the negative.
