Vietnam 1966 By Kyoichi Sawada.
The Japanese photographer worked for UPI. He died covering Cambodia in 1970. He won the "World Press Photo of the Year" in 1965 and won the Pulitzer Prize for Photography in 1966. In 1966 he also won the "World Press Photo of the Year" award, for this very photograph. "The body of a Viet Cong soldier is dragged behind an armored vehicle en route to a burial site." The yellow slug is dated 1972. The next two lots are also by Sawada.
