John Mechi (British, 19th Century) Wooden Box with mother of pearl inlay and fabric lining, ca. 1830-1841, 5 x 10 x 7 inches, with interior label "MADE BY / MECHI. / 4 Leadenhall St. / LONDON". Provenance: Miss Alice Gerrity of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania and Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.
Condition report
Surface dirt overall; interior fabric has some staining; a 2 inch crack to right front corner lid; missing key.
