Spanish Colonial School, (19th Century) Wooden Chest with inlay along the perimeters of four sides, bone inlay in vegetal-form embellishes the corners, sides bound with perforated, incised metal straps, a large incised square lock, with incised metal handles on two sides, chest rests upon four rounded legs with hidden wheels, 40¾ x 19 x 21 inches. Provenance: Private Collection, Philadelphia.
Condition report
Minor surface dirt; missing key; some bone loss throughout; a 3 inch section of wood loss along the right side.
