1854 1C MS67 Brown NGC. N-26, High R.3. An exactingly struck Superb Gem with lovely faded fire-red and olive-green toning. The satiny surfaces are essentially pristine. This scarce die pairing was unknown to Newcomb. PCGS has yet to certify and 1854 cents above MS66 in any color designation. EAC 63. Census: 4 in 67 Brown, 0 finer (9/08).
