Condition/Details: Bound in green cloth with bright gilt embossing and pictorial design to front cover (showing a man taking a reading with a sextant within a circle), this antique volume is a scarce early edition of the Verne classic. The work is profusely illustrated ("One Hundred and Ten Illustrations" indicated on title page) with a tissue-guarded frontispiece and many well-preserved, bright plates. The volume shows light external age/wear, with small tears to spine ends, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 6" x 8.25" and contains 303 pages.
