Condition/Details: Bound in dark green cloth with bright gilt embossing on spine, this volume is a scarce signed reissue of this author's 1930 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about the clash between American culture and that of the southwestern Native American. This new edition has an introduction by Dee Brown. Inscription pasted to front endpaper reads: "No muy santa/ sino muy buena y buena amiga/ with love of ravinous birds/ Oliver LaFarge" The volume is in fine condition, and is solidly bound with clean, bright pages. Dustjacket illustrated with Southwestern/Indian scene is in glassine cover. The book measures approximately 5.25" x 8" and contains 182 pages.
