Condition/Details: Bound in tan boards with gold cloth spine, this volume is a scarce signed copy of the Australian novelist's famous Holocaust novel. The book appeared as "Schindler's Ark" in the United Kingdom and received the Booker Prize for Fiction in 1982. It was made into an Oscar-winning film by Steven Spielberg in 1993. The book tells the story of Oskar Schindler, a Nazi Party member, who turns into an unlikely hero. By the end of the war, Schindler has saved 1100 Jews from concentration camps all over Poland and Germany. A bookplate with the author's signature has been pasted to title page. The volume is in fine condition, and is solidly bound with clean, bright pages. Dustjacket is in glassine cover. The book measures approximately 6.5" x 9.5" and contains 400 pages.
