Condition/Details: The softcover volume, covered in glassine protector, is the uncorrected proof of the first full length novel by the award winning Spokane/Coeur d'Alene/American poet and author. Alexie is a prolific writer of poems, short stories and novels dealing primarily with reservation life with political and social commentary. This book, upon publication won the UK's Granta magazine as one of the Best Young American Novelists and won the Before Columbus Foundation's American Book Award, as well as the Murray Morgan Prize. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 9" x 6" and contains 311 pages.
