Condition/Details: Bound in green cloth-backed marbled boards, this antique volume is a scarce collection of three short stories by an author who was most prolific in that genre. The first is a Civil War story first published in the San Francisco Examiner in 1889, and later included in "Tales of Soldiers and Civilians" (1891). The two remaining texts are both horror stories. This is number 268 of 400 copies. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 6.25" x 8.5" and contains 53 pages.
