Notes: Displaying elaborately embossed boards and spines with raised bands and gilt-lettered labels, this antique set is a scarce edition of the work of the Jacobean dramatists, who collaborated on about a dozen plays between the years 1606 - 1616. The work is illustrated with steel-engraved frontispiece portraits of the authors. The volumes show very mild external age/wear, and are solidly bound with clean, bright pages.
