Condition/Details: Bound in yellow boards with black cloth backed spine with white lettering, this first edition is the second novel by American author, actress, director and comedienne Fannie Flagg. The author wrote the screenplay for the movie version of the book ("Fried Green Tomatoes" - 1991) starring Jessica Tandy, Mary Stuart Masterson, Mary-Louise Parker and Cicely Tyson. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for her efforts. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages and is wrapped in its brodart covered dustjacket. The book measures approximately 9.5" x 6.5" and contains 403 pages.
