Condition/Details: Bound in quarter leather with blue lettering on cream marbled cloth covered boards, this volume is a scarce first printing of this Australian author's 2000 novel, which was awarded the Booker Prize for Fiction the following year. The volume is in fine condition, and is solidly bound with clean, bright pages. Original unprinted acetate dustjacket is now preserved in glassine cover. Illustrated card signed by author has been laid. It states: "This hardcover edition is form the first Australian print run, published on 14 October 2000." The book measures approximately 6.25" x 9.25" and contains 401 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
