Condition/Details: Bound in light brown cloth with black lettering and green and gilt decoration, this antique volume is a scarce original edition of Terhune's first full-length novel, and the first mother-son literary collaboration in the United States. Terhune is primarily remembered for his novels, stories and essays about dogs, usually collies. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 5.25" x 7.75" and contains 408 pages. Please note that a copy of another Dale title is being offered at this auction. See lot number 227.
