Condition/Details: Bound in quarter cloth with bright embossing to spine, this volume is a scarce signed copy of the Canadian author's prize-winning novel. It was given both the Governor General's Award and the Pulitzer for Fiction in 1995. It is the fictional autobiography about the life of Daisy Goodwill Flett, a seemingly ordinary woman whose life is marked by death and loss from the beginning, when her mother dies during childbirth. Through marriage and motherhood, Daisy struggles to find contentment, never truly understanding her life's true purpose The volume is in fine condition, and is solidly bound with clean pages.
