Condition/Details: Bound in black cloth with blue lettering and decoration , this book is inscribed by the author on the front endpaper. This novel of "escape" is filled with a bright Yankee humor. The winner of the Pulitzer Prize for "Laughing Boy" "does for Indians what Porgy did for Negroes" in this work according to the Saturday Review.
