Condition/Details: Bound in maroon cloth with bright gilt embossing, this antique volume is a scarce sequel to the author's famous Giant-Land, "one of the most popular nursery books of the period". The work is illustrated with 20 illustrations in color, "after designes by "Puck"". The volume shows light external age/wear, with bright gilt decorative illustration depicting a knight on horseback charging a dragon on front board. Book is solidly bound, with clean, gilt-edged pages. Dedication to previous owner written on front endpaper. The book measures approximately 6.25" x 8.5" and contains 344 pages.
