SECRETARY. Elaborate ladies secretary, attributed to R. J. Horner, an upper rail sits above open shelves with beveled glass panels at back, the two supporting columns end on griffin heads whose wings decorate the area above the desk, the desk itself is drop down with brass supports, it is elaborately carved with a putti centering elaborate acanthus scrolls, there is one drawer and a cabinet below, claw feet, circa 1890, very good original condition, 34 3/4" w x 19" d 63" t.
