SCULPTURE. Jack Greaves, Woman and Man, bronze figural group depicting a standing male and female figure facing each other across a bronze based oval table with white tablecloth, the table is set with a bowl of fruit and a shell, the suited man's hands reach out towards the woman who wears a simple dress and clasps her hands behind her back holding a purse, they stand on a faux tile floor interspersed with bronze diamonds, signed on the base, Greaves, dated 1977, see public collections of Greaves art the Sculpture Center, OOSI, Capital University, Schumaker Gallery and published in "Three Humanist Sculptors", Betty Rea, Jack Greaves, Ralph Brown, London. Zwemmer Gallery. 1960, Instructor, Bath Academy of Art, England, very good condition, minor loss to tablecloth, 36 5/8" w x 23 1/2" d x 44" t.
