Georgian oversize slant front desk, the slant front set with lighter wood framing, ebony stringing and centered with an oval marquetry panel with a cornucopia of flowers, the front opens to a fully fitted interior with leather inset writing surface, a long paper drawer on each side with four open storage areas and four short drawers on either side of a center cupboard beautifully decorated with a marquetry oval of green set with a vase of flowers, the interior drawers all framed with lighter wood, the chest below is made of four long drawers also framed and set with original hardware, 18th. century, good condition, 50" w x 23" d x 47"h.
