SKIRT. Chinese embroidered skirt, the lavender grey silk brocade has a pattern of butterflies, the panels have black trim and are embroidered with flowers and butterflies, the central panel heavily embroidered with a central vase of forbidden stitch surrounded by fruit and flower filled bowls, circa 1920-1925, provenance, purchased in China 1926, very good condition, together with a partial, frayed skirt piece in blue on ivory.
