PLAQUES. Two Limoges enameled plaques, portraits of a man and a woman wearing elaborate 16th. century dress, the octagonal portraits surrounded by additional panels decorated with classical motifs, one initialed upper left the other upper right, the man with the date 1569, the woman 1539, attributed to Leonard Limousin (ca. 1505-77), all set in new frames, very good condition, 18 1/2" x 16 1/2" with frame.
