Gelatin silver print. c1911 - 1926. Titled in pencil on verso. 4 5/8 x 6 9/16 in. (117 x 167 mm). Sheet Size: 4 15/16 x 6 15/16 in. (125 x 176 mm). Typed notation on verso: "Note corral made of closely spaced posts set upright in the ground. Navajos have long taken pride in their horses, both as a sign of their animal husbandry skills and as a symbol of wealth.".
