Inscribed in an unknown hand "Portrait taken in 1974, vintage print signed verso by Hujar, signed by Sontag in Berkeley 14 September 1992 (she was touched upon seeing this portrait again and remembered our meeting at Muhlenberg in 1974)" and "collection of Richard Lorenz" in pencil on the verso. 14 5/8 x 14 3/4 in.
