Hand woven rug with artist's signature woven in ''E Sulca'' for Eddie Sulca, a well known weaver from Ayacucho, Peru. We believe the title of the weaving to be, ''Chumpi'' referring to the chumpey sash that the South Amrerican Field Workers wear. These sashes are highley decorated pieces of art designed by the individual workers in the field. Natural dyes on wool rug. Measures approx. 5'3'' x 3'9'' including 2 inch fringe. SHI $20.
