Egypt, XXVI Dynasty, c. 664-525BC, a large and thick wood face mask in expressive gold paint as facial color. Large eyes and brows are in black and white with red lips and green wig. Loses to right portion of mask and left ear but still very impressive. Proper mounting and lighting would greatly improve the appearance of this highly displayable piece. NYC Collection. H: 14", W: 9", 3" thick. Nice overall condition.
