Good Porcelain vase with poinsettia decoration done in 1929 by Kataro Shirayamadani. The vase is nearly covered with flowers, stems and leaves in shades of pink, green and blue. The interior is done in a mottled drip glaze very similar to Rookwood's Anniversary glaze but in shades of blue and black rather than gray and black. Marked with the Rookwood logo and date, shape number 2790 and the incised cypher of the artist. Height 11 7/8 inches. Uncrazed and very clean.
