KWAKWAKA'WAKW SPIRIT MASK of the northwest coast, "Bumble Bee". Hand carved by Stan C. Hunt (Victoria, British Columbia, born 1954, a master carver, son of Henry Hunt). Red cedar with inset barbs, painted black, orange and russet. 8 in. wide, 9 in. tall, signed, titled and dated 1984 in pencil inside.
Condition report26: Missing 3 spikes at forehead; no other visible breaks, repairs, or losses.
