SPENCER MC CARTY, Makah master carver. TWO "Changing Masks", each having copper inset strips simulating teeth, the first with brown fur (hair) and black painted accents; the second very similar with black fur (hair), more elaborate accents with yellow and red. The latter signed Spencer McCarty '86, the former marked Changing Masks 1. Each 10 in. by 8 in.
Condition report39: Both show very minor suface scratches/ nicks; no other visible breaks, losses, or repairs.
