CARL STEPHEN WAMISS (Tswataineuk tribe), born 1957. Hand carved wooden depicting Sisiutl, a mythical creature. Stylized ravens at either end centered with mask-like face with tongue extended. Painted with black, red, white and green. Length 36 in., height 9 in. Signed Carl Wamiss with name of tribe and titled verso.
