AN EBONIZED AND PARCEL-GILT WOOD CHEST, Thailand, 18th century elements, having a rectangular lift top, the front and sides faced with applied pictorial metal panels. Dimensions: 14.75" H x 27" L x 16" D.
Condition report421: Front panel molded as are inset sides;- even wear; good to fair condition as appears to have been used as a toy storage box- filled with children's books; traces of gilt on lid; bale metal handles good.
