A JAPANESE BRONZE CENTER BOWL, Meiji Period. The circular bowl, 14 in. in diameter having twin dragons whose arched backs form carrying handles, each three-toed with gaping open mouths, supported on three shaped feet. Dark brown patina. Provenance: from the Robert Beeman Smith estate.
