SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HERIZ CARPET, district of Heriz, Azarbaijan province, eastern Iran, centering an extra large geometric medallion with surrounding curvilean floral motif on hexagonal red ground with ivory spandrels and dark blue principal border, hand knotted, 9'4" x 12'3".
Condition report732: Wear in an area about 3'x 1' approx. 4' directly in from opposing corners; some knot wear in several spots mostly along last interior border; no repairs or stains.
