As per oral legend of the past 50 years these canes were carved by a famous French Madam. She had canes and pipes made each year at Christmas and gave them to her best clients. This example has been in a private collection for the past 35 years and presents an opportunity of a lifetime for its new owner. The young lady is finely carved and the apron is hinged at each arm. When the apron is lifted, her legs and garter belts are shown in great detail. It has a signed sterling collar, hardwood shaft and a bimetal ferrule-H. 4" x 1 ½", O.L. 37 ½"-$15,000-$20,000
