Mario Montelatici (Italian, 1894-1974), untitled, finely inlaid, depicting a dark haired nude beauty resting on a rocky beach with the surf breaking in the background, signed in red stone lower right M.Montelatici, framed. 7 1/2" x 12" (sight). 13 1/2" x 18" (framed). Note: Mario Montelatici was the son of Giovanni Montelatici, famed pietre dura artist, began creating pietre dura mosaics at the age of 9. He worked until his death at age 90. famed Condition: excellent, no damage or repair, not examined out of frame.
